I started by doing my share of the disco at Hebden Bridge youth house in 1967 and it just took over my life from there, loved it!
In 1971 I was driving so made my first mobile set up and hit the road with my brother (our Bob) and we were doing disco's everywhere. Then Bob got married, so was then a solo act. As business grew throughout the 70's it became a full time job as the 80's boom hit us working 7 nights a week, mainly rock nights which I loved, well it's my personal choice! I like to play what people ask for though and am planning to get a music list on this site but it will be around Jan 2005 before I have all my music listed track by track, from the 30's to today. I carry nearly all my music with me, 30's and 40's are on request and naturally seasonal is as and when appropriate.
I work throughout the Halifax, Hebden Bridge, Todmorden, Rochdale, Oldham, Burnley, Pendle, Rossendale, Keighley areas and beyond. The Astro Mobile Disco will play in all areas.
I can do themed nights and have done, 40's, 50's, 60's,70's, 80's, 90's etc Rock, Soul, Mods and Rockers, Rocky Horror, Rock and Roll.
I can travel and do often, working as far away as Durham recently so don't hesitate, just ask for a competitive quote.
